Introduction

This page is dedicated to Bull's contribution in improving IPv6 Mobility support in Linux operating system.

IPv6 Mobility is specified in RFC3775.
The Linux implementation project, developed by Helsinki University of Technology, is hosted at http://mobile-ipv6.org.

Our project focuses on testing the current implementation, reporting bugs, and proposing patches.
We are using the TAHI Testsuite as well as custom tests representing real life scenarii.

Here is the latest revision of our test plan for features and interoperability. There are our latest results.

The latest test serie (S6) is based on MIPL 2.0.1 released on February 25th 2006:

• The kernel patch is applied on Linux kernel 2.6.15

• 2006/05/15: Results are available for pre-2.0.2 nightly snapshots on Linux kernel 2.6.16.
